Sunt numele de cod pentru noul limbaj de scripting propus de Adobe si versiunea 10 a Flash Player. La Adobe Max 2007 a fost prezentat un demo uimitor cu posibilitatile Hydra & Astro.

The application that we have made available will let you build hydra filters and see them run on your images. The AIF team wants your feedback on the language and the tools so that we can continue to improve them before their final release.”
Ce inseamna asta? Engine 3D nativ in Flash Player 10, imprumutat de la fratele After Effects. Un pas urias avand in vedere directia in care vor putea merge aplicatiile interactive. Daca acum, vedem chestii pretty mind-blowing facute cu engine-uri 3D gen Papervision, in curand vom fi intampinati de elemente tridimensionale in orice site Flash, multumita noilor tehnologii lansate de Abobe.
Pe langa asta, noul limbaj de scripting destinat imaginilor permite o gama larga de efecte ce pot fi customizate pana la cel mai mic detaliu, de la swirl-uri pana la mozaicuri, toate create din script.
